Connect Claude to Ridekick

A buyer adds Ridekick to Claude as a custom connector, with the address of our server: https://www.ridekick.com/api/mcp. After that, Claude can look at the buyer's Ridekick requests. The buyer signs in and approves it on a Ridekick screen.

Claude is not open to every account yet. If adding the connector does not work, your account may not have it yet.

Add Ridekick by its address

  1. Go to Customize, then Connectors, at https://claude.ai/customize/connectors. In the desktop app, choose Customize in the sidebar, then Connectors. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it under Organization settings, Connectors, Add, Custom, with the type Web. Members then select Connect.
  2. Select Add custom connector.
  3. Enter the server address: https://www.ridekick.com/api/mcp.
  4. For authentication, choose Sign in now. Each user signs in before using the connector. The dialog can look different in your organization.
  5. For the OAuth client, choose Use Claude's published identity. Do not choose to register automatically, and do not choose your own OAuth client.
  6. Select Add. You cannot change the authentication settings after this. To change them, remove the connector and add it again.
  7. Open a conversation, select + in the message box, choose Connectors, and turn Ridekick on. The switch is per conversation.

With Sign in now, the buyer signs in and approves the connection on a Ridekick screen before using Ridekick in a conversation.

Claude can ask before it uses a tool. Choose Allow once to decide each time. Ridekick cannot see your answer, so say yes only to what you want Claude to do.

What to say first

  1. How does Ridekick work? Claude explains the service.
  2. List my Ridekick requests. Claude reads the buyer's own requests.

Reconnect or disconnect

Access lasts up to 24 hours. After that the connector shows Reconnect. Select it and sign in again. To disconnect, open Ridekick under Customize, then Connectors, and select Disconnect. To remove it, use the three-dot menu.
