Every read has a deadline

Each read has 8 s. Past it, the answer is 503 unavailable: no partial data is sent, and the read itself is cancelled. Retry with backoff. See Errors.

Listing is bounded too

Listing deal sets returns at most 4 deal sets, most recent activity first. A set whose requests are all archived is not listed.

These are two different limits: the whole read is cancelled at 8 s; a single deal set that takes over 4 s is left out of that answer. Leaving it out is not an error. Call again to pick it up. See Deal sets.
