For dealers
Appointments, not raw leads.
Ridekick works with in-market buyers to settle the out-the-door price on a specific vehicle in your inventory before they ever walk in. When the buyer is ready, Ridekick sends the appointment to your store. What lands with your team is a buyer on a specific vehicle, not a name on a list.
What makes these different
A Ridekick appointment is tied to a specific VIN in your inventory, and the buyer has already seen and accepted a real out-the-door number from your store. There is no price discovery left to do when they arrive, which is the step that normally kills a lead.
How it works
- 1. The buyer finds the car. Shoppers search listings on Ridekick and pick a specific vehicle, including vehicles in your inventory.
- 2. Ridekick contacts your store. Ridekick requests a real out-the-door price on that vehicle over email or text, the same way any customer would, and works through fees and add-ons with your team.
- 3. The buyer decides. The buyer reviews the number and chooses to move forward, keep going, or walk away. Ridekick never decides for them.
- 4. You get the appointment. When the buyer commits, the appointment lands with your store with the vehicle and the agreed number attached.
What it costs
Dealers pay Ridekick a flat monthly subscription. Pricing depends on your market and the size of your store.
Ridekick does not charge per deal, per appointment, or per lead, and takes no commission on the sale. That is a deliberate structural choice: what Ridekick earns does not move with whether — or what — you sell.
Buyers pay Ridekick nothing. Dealer subscriptions are the only way Ridekick makes money, which is why the buyer-side experience stays free and why Ridekick has no incentive to push a buyer toward a particular store.
What Ridekick is not
Ridekick is not a dealer, a broker, or a lender, and does not sell vehicles. It does not take possession of inventory, hold a buyer's deposit, or negotiate a binding agreement on anyone's behalf. Final pricing is always set by the selling dealer, and the sale is between the dealer and the buyer.
Ridekick also does not resell buyer information. An appointment goes to the store that holds the vehicle the buyer chose — it is not distributed to a group of competing dealers.
Frequently asked questions
- How is this different from a lead provider?
- Conventional leads are contact records — a name and a vehicle of interest, often sold to several stores at once. A Ridekick appointment is a single buyer, on a specific VIN in your inventory, who has already agreed to an out-the-door number from your store.
- Does Ridekick pressure my team on price?
- Ridekick asks for a complete out-the-door price and clarifies fees and add-ons. Your store decides what number to give. Ridekick does not set your price, and buyers are told plainly that final pricing is yours.
- What does my store need to do to participate?
- Respond to Ridekick's price requests the way you would any customer inquiry. No CRM integration, inventory feed, or software install is required to start.
